FARMINGTON – Three women’s support groups are being offered this fall by SAVES, Franklin County’s sexual assault center.
The Women’s Empowerment Group will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting Oct. 4. The group will explore topics such as what it means to be a woman, developing safe physical and emotional boundaries, self-soothing and trust. It is designed for women who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse or domestic violence.
The Expressive Arts Recovery Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Mondays, starting Sept. 26.
Creative Recovery for Women: A Writers’ Group for Survivors will meet at a time to be announced. Call for more information. The groups will be facilitated by Aimee DesRoches.
