RUMFORD – Rumford Hospital honored 38 employees for their five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service to the hospital and its community. The recognition dinner, held at the lodge at Black Mountain of Maine, is an annual event.
Employees and their guests were greeted by John Welsh, hospital CEO. He and other managers presented awards to their staff members.
Honored for 25 years were Susan Grace, lab; Katherine Hutchinson, R.N., operating room; and Barbara Ladd, R.N., med/surg unit.
For 20 years: Jane Aube, RN, director of nursing; Michelle Gilbert, R.N., birthing center; Becky Hall, R.N., operating room manager; Janet Law, food service; Anne Marie Mahar, R.N., diabetes education; and Carleen Robinson, rehabilitation.
Fifteen-year veterans are Peggy Dickson, linen service; Mandy Jordan, Swift River Health Care; and Fawnie MacDonald, switchboard.
Ten years: Pam Bentley and Jackie Brown, Swift River; Dan Bulger and Joseph Cayer, plant operations; Lisa Hodgkins, oncology; Jeannette Hutchins, Swift River; Elaine Maurais, food service; Evelyn Rivera, med/surg; and Maggie Churchill, radiology.
Five years: Stacy Baker, respiratory; Kathleen Ballou, oncology; Bette Barajas, radiology; Jane Bubar, community relations; Cindy Dawson, speech therapy; Beth Dyke, and Jennifer Grover, lab; Irene Haynes, med/surg; Tammy Jolin, lab; Sue Knight, rehabilitation; Theresa LaPointe, intensive care unit; Hollie Louvat, pharmacy; Rhonda Norton, rehabilitation; Sharon Rickards, Swift River; Catherine Taylor, med/surg; and Ann Welch, Swift River.
Each received a badge holder with the Rumford Hospital logo. They had earlier chosen and received a gift from a selection based on their numbers of years of service.
