NEW GLOUCESTER – Celebrating its fourth year in business, Fiddlehead Center for the Arts is offering new classes for adults.

Fiddlehead Center, through feedback from adults, is expanding the following adult classes: clay classes for beginner and intermediate levels; studio hours for the clay studio; dance offerings, African and Latin dance; yoga for adults and the whole family; hand drumming classes by Shamou of Portland; and Spanish classes for beginners and intermediates.

“What we learned from our survey is that adults are looking for a variety of offerings locally that otherwise are not available unless you drive to Portland, and that are offered for a shorter number of weeks,” said Jacinda Cotton-Castro, business director and co-founder of Fiddlehead.
