LEWISTON – Adella M. “Della” Royer, 104, formerly of 462 Canal St., died Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Montello Commons, where she lived for the past 10 years.

Born in St. Henedine, Quebec, on Feb. 21, 1901, a daughter of Ludger and Pamela LeCompte Royer, she was educated in Canadian schools and moved to Lewiston in 1922.

She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish and worked as a stitcher at Aerobauch Shoe in Freeport.

She is survived by a nephew, Roland P. Hachey of Lewiston; a niece, Mary Hachey of Ceader Rapid, Iowa; and her extended family at Montello Commons.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Olivette Moreau, Alice Royer, Blanche Hachey, Alberta Cullen and Maria Cullen.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Montello Commons and Androscoggin Hospice for the care Della received for the past 10 years.
