Ben Seefeldt and Patrick Trenholm also tallied for the Mustangs (7-2-1) to complete the scoring. Scott Ogden made four saves in net to notch the win.
Jon Smith tallied the Cougars’ (3-6-1) lone goal on a penalty kick late in the first half. Lenny Hall handled netkeeping duties, turning away four shots.

HEBRON – Austin Grande converted a pass from TJ Thayer in the first half to lift Hebron to a 1-0 victory over Hyde in boys’ soccer action on Wednesday.
Will Sorkin made 10 saves in net for Hebron (3-0-1) to record his first shutout of the season.
Lisbon 1, Hall-Dale 0
FARMINGDALE – Maxx Hathaway tallied the lone goal of the contest to lift Lisbon to a 1-0 victory over Hall-Dale in boys’ soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.
Hathaway picked up a pass from Dan Gil-Romero who crossed it over for the Greyhound (6-3-1) score.
Jay 3, Mountain Valley 1
RUMFORD – Brad Richards netted a pair of goals Wednesday to propel Jay to a 3-1 victory over Mountain Valley in a MVC boys’ soccer matchup on Wednesday.
Justin Jacques also tallied for the mighty Tigers (3-7) to complete the scoring. Matt Roundy made nine saves in net to notch the win.
Byron Glaus scored the Falcons’ (2-7-1) lone goal with an assist from Corey Devoe. Bryan Conwell handled netkeeping duties, turning away eight shots.
Georges Valley 4, Livermore Falls 0
THOMASTON – Ned Rich led a quartet of players to score goals Wednesday as Georges Valley rolled to a 4-0 romp over Livermore Falls in boys’ soccer action on Wednesday.
Joeri Klompenhouwer, Josh Ross and Elisha Spreague also tallied for the Buccaneers (9-0-1) to round out the final tally. Jake Hall made six saves while notching the shutout.
Derick Neal handled netkeeping duties for the Andies (0-9-1), turning back an impressive 26 shots.
