LEWISTON – Sound Limbs, a custom orthotics and prosthetics practice in Lewiston, is pleased to announce that Glen DeCarteret, prosthetist, has recently joined its professional staff.

DeCarteret has more than 20 years of experience in designing and fitting prosthetics and specializes in the treatment of dysvascular and diabetic lower limb amputees.

DeCarteret graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1983 and completed the certificate program in prosthetics at Northwestern University in Chicago.

He received his ABC certification in 1986 and is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, a national association dedicated to promoting professionalism in the field and advancing the standards of patient care.

Sound Limbs Orthotics & Prosthetics has an in-house fabrication facility on-site and specializes in designing, manufacturing and fitting custom orthotics and prosthetics.
