LEWISTON – Rose M. Andrews, 68, of Turner, died Sunday, Oct. 2, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., on Jan. 4, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Ida Rousseau Laprade. She moved to Maine in 1983.

She had been employed as a health care aide. She was a member of St. Philips Church in Auburn, and enjoyed sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, William W. Andrews Jr., of Turner; three children, Susan R. Collins of Dumfries, Va., Norman P. Robert of Wesley and Diane M. Palmer of Turner; three brothers, Maurice Laprade, Albert Laprade and Roland Laprade, all of Woonsocket, R.I.; a sister, Cecile Lemieux of Cumberland, R.I.; six grandchildren; four stepchildren, Joyce Bryson of Florida, Paula Morris of Arizona, William W. Andrews III of Litchfield and Brenda L. Andrews of Norway; and three step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Lucien M. Robert; and a son, Marc L. Robert.
