AUBURN – Tickets are on sale for the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society’s Octoberfest Raffle. Prizes include two full-session massages at Another New Day Therapeutic Massage; signed and framed original David A. Footer print; cat tree handcrafted by R6meows; lost wax handmade sterling silver horse pendant; holiday lap quilt; and a child’s rocking chair with animated Snoopy.

Tickets can be purchased at the Humane Society or printed off the Web site at www.gahumane.org. The drawing will be held Monday, Nov. 7. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Humane Society.

The society provides a safe haven for approximately 3,600 sick, homeless and abused animals in the Androscoggin area a year. The primary support for the shelter comes from fund-raising events and donations.

The shelter gives back through community services, including animal intake and adoption, animal health services, reuniting people with lost animals, humane education and working with individuals who are disadvantaged or developmentally disabled.
