AUBURN – An unassisted goal by St. Dom’s Kristen Ruby turned out to be the deciding score as the Saints held on for a 2-1 victory over Poland.
Donna Roberts kept the score close with a monster game between the pipes for the Knights (2-10-1), stopping 28 shots, and Kristen Simpson scored a late goal to make things interesting.
Kayla McKay scored in the first half for St. Dom’s (11-2), with assists from Mary Lewis and Elisha Dorso. Austyn Caroline made three saves.
Leavitt 4, Rockland 0
TURNER – Tiffany Poland scored a pair of goals as Leavitt pounced on visiting Rockland, 4-0.
Jessica Paladino chipped in with a pair of assists, setting up goals by Poland and Lauren Doiron. Heidi Swett rounded out the scoring for the Hornets (10-3), who enjoyed a huge advantage in shots, 17-3.
Kristen Schrepper and Jessica Vickerson combined for the shutout, with Vickerson having the only work in the game, stopping three shots. Dana Clark had 13 saves for Rockland (4-8-1).
Livermore Falls 7, Dirigo 2
DIXFIELD – Rachel Ventrella and Whitney McDaniel notched hat tricks to lift Livermore Falls to a 7-2 victory over Dirigo in MVC field hockey action Friday.
Ventrella scored the opening goal of the second half to record the eventual game-winner for the Andies.
Holly Knight found the back of the net in each half for the Cougars (3-9).
Goalie Dani Tompkins saw a blizzard of shots, making 22 saves for Dirigo, while Kayla Wilson picked up the win with six saves for Livermore Falls.
Telstar 3, Hall-Dale 1
HALLOWELL – Whitney Mills scored the eventual game-winner with 13:44 remaining in the first half as Telstar cruised to a 3-1 victory over Hall-Dale.
Donna Wilson got the Rebels on the board on a goalmouth scramble, and Kayla Mills also added a goal for Telstar (12-1).
Katie Frett scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs, who were held without a shot in the second half. Alyssa Withee stopped 14 shots in the Hall-Dale cage.
Stephanie Tripp and Heather Gionet each took a turn in the net for the Rebels.
Lisbon 3, Georges Valley 0
LISBON – Felicia Robishaw scored a hat trick to lead Lisbon to a 3-0 victory over Georges Valley in field hockey action Friday.
The Greyhounds (7-6) dominated throughout as Christie McAuliffe controlled the ball well at center midfield, and Allison Rusk had a strong game at fullback.
Goalie Kayla Wood was on her toes for most of the contest, making 23 saves, while the Buccaneers (0-13) were outshot 38-3. Rachel Beal only had to prevent three shots to earn the shutout.

Oxford Hills 5, Leavitt 0
SOUTH PARIS – Whitney Linindoll paced the Vikings with two goals and an assist as Oxford Hills pounded Leavitt 5-0 in KVAC girls’ soccer action.
Linindoll assisted on Jenny Pietroski’s goal, the eventual game-winner, as the Vikings did the bulk of their scoring in a 17-minute span of the first half. Kari Pelletier and Jill Rich also scored for Oxford Hills (4-5-3).
Sam Rivers made five saves for the Vikings. Katherine Rothe made 12 saves for the Hornets (2-9).
Bangor 2, Mt. Blue 0
FARMINGTON – Amy Hackett and Jessie Roberts each scored to lead Bangor to a 2-0 victory over Mt. Blue.
Hackett opened the scoring two minutes into the game with an unassisted goal, and Roberts added an insurance tally on a shot that bounced off both goalposts before crossing the goal line with six minutes to play in the first half.
The Cougars (5-5-2) kept Bangor off the scoreboard in the second half, but could not find the back of the net. Caitlin Scott made 12 saves for Mt. Blue.
Ilyse Angst made eight saves for the shutout for the Rams (11-1).
