DURHAM – The golden wedding anniversary of Daniel and Allison Miller of Durham was celebrated on Aug. 28, which was the exact date of the wedding.
An open house and buffet was given by their children, daughter, Bethany Hosmer and husband, David, and son, D. Nathan Jr. and wife, Errol.
About 190 friends and relatives attended the garden party on a sunny afternoon at their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller were married on the lawn at the Bard homestead in Lisbon Falls by the Rev. Anthony Lombardi of South Lewiston Baptist Church.
Mr. Miller is a retired mason and building contractor and is currently involved in trucking. Mrs. Miller is a bus driver for Lisbon schools. They have six grandchildren, Derek, Brent, Britt, Erin, Erika and Tara.
