MILTON TOWNSHIP – The wedding of Rebecca Jasud and Michael Billings took place at 1 p.m. on Aug. 20 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of Lloyd and Beverly Billings, parents of the bridegroom. Vance Child officiated at the ceremony and the lighting of a memorial candle in honor of the parents of the bride.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Glenn Jasud, and she wore an ivory gown trimmed in cranberry. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and Priscilla Jasud.

Tasha Jasud, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor and Don Jacobson, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. Heidi Billings, daughter of the bridegroom, and Amber Grassette, daughter of the bride, were bridesmaids. Katie Billings, daughter of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

A reception followed the ceremony. The couple is planning a honeymoon at a later time. They are residing in Rumford.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Rumford High School and is employed at Dick’s Restaurant.

The bridegroom is a 1982 graduate of Rumford High School and is employed at Cianbro.
