LEWISTON – Roxanne Andrews of Westport Island, president of the Rebekah Assembly of Maine, will officiate at the session to be held Thursday and Friday, Oct. 13 and 14, at the Ramada Inn.

The opening will start at 9 a.m. on Thursday with registration beginning at 8 for all Rebekahs in Maine, New England and parts of the Northeast Canada. It will begin with the seating of the officers, deputies and past presidents of the Rebekah Assembly of Maine.

The official opening will be at 1:30 p.m. where only past noble grands and past grands of the Odd Fellows who are Rebekahs may attend. At 7 p.m. Thursday there will be a joint memorial service for all departed past noble grands and past grand officers. The meeting will reconvene after the memorial service.

At 8 a.m. Friday the meeting will reconvene when officers will be elected. Installation of officers and deputies in the afternoon. The new president will present her program for the year.

A banquet for the outgoing president and grand master will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom.

Secretaries for the Rebekah Lodges will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday in the classroom. The new deputies will meet with the president, vice president and warden at 8 a.m. also. At 10 a.m. past district deputies will meet, followed by a noon luncheon.
