LEWISTON – Pauline M. Pelletier, 73, of Main Street, Lewiston, died Thursday, Oct. 6, at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston.

She was born in Falmouth on Dec. 14, 1931, the daughter of William and Ellen (Potter) Jensen.

She was a lifetime member and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post No. 915 in Lewiston. She had worked for Community Concepts in Auburn with the Food Pantry Program, in which she worked with the Good Shepherd Food-Bank helping to provide to local food banks and also the volunteer drivers program, which provides transportation for the elderly in the area.

Pauline enjoyed traveling and family, and had lived in Connecticut, California and Texas before returning to her birth state in 1987.

She is survived by four sons, William, Gerard, Luke and Peter Pelletier; a daughter, Mattie LaPan; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Saturn Pelletier, of Greene, on Dec. 7, 2003.
