PITTSTON – Kendra Anne Searles, 56, of Pittston, a native of Rangeley, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, Oct. 7.

She was born on April 6, 1949, in Rangeley, the daughter of E. Richard and Kay (Crocker) Ellis. She received her education in Rangeley schools graduating from Rangeley High School in 1967.

Following high school, she graduated from Beautician School in 1968.

In October 1969, she married her first husband, Bruce Webber of Rangeley and had two daughters, Shannon and Carrie.

On Dec. 1, 1990, she was remarried to Arnold Searles at her parents’ home in Rangeley. They lived happily in the Augusta area for the past 15 years.

She was a member of the OES Somerset Chapter 80.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family and friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Searles of Pittston; her father, Richard Ellis of Rangeley; a brother, Eric Ellis of Westbrook; daughters, Shannon Webber and her partner, Jim Williams, and their children Autumn-Skye and Daxxtyn, all of Rangeley; daughter, Carrie Lacasse and her husband, Bryan Lacasse of Westbrook; stepdaughter, Erin Gould and her husband, Brian Gould and their children, Brandon, Dillan, Pam, BeaBea of Livermore Falls; stepson, Sean Searles of Rumford, and her four-legged babies, Skye, Daisy, Angel and Dusty.

She was predeceased by her mother, Kay C. Ellis.
