LEWISTON – Doug Ginevan of Falmouth is the new assistant vice president for financial planning and analysis at Bates College.
The 36-year-old started his job at Bates on Sept. 6. He brings 13 years of experience in business and financial operations, previously serving six years as a vice president for operations at Aramark, the international facilities and dining services company.
While Aramark partners with businesses and nonprofit organizations in diverse industries, Ginevan worked extensively in its higher education segment and was senior contact for 70 educational clients throughout New England.
At Bates, Ginevan is in charge of the budget process and has oversight responsibilities for the college store and certain purchasing operations.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history at Middlebury and an master’s degree in business administration at the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
His wife, Dr. Kim Ginevan, is a pathologist with Spectrum Medical Group. They have two children.
