NORWAY – The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association has concluded its annual fall shoots and will recognize all of the winners at the Thursday, Oct. 20, meeting at a trophy presentation.
The shoots ran on three consecutive weekends, Sept. 11, 18 and 25. At the end of each day of those days of trap shooting and running deer competitions a winner was declared.
In the trap shooting, the three winners in the adult division were 83-year-old Don Cross, Arlan Bigelow and Sammy Giles. The junior division winners were Kyle Kimball, Tyler Merrifield and Mike Follette.
The top finishers in the running deer competition were Kip Hemingway, David Akers and Brandon Cole. Fourteen-year old Lindsay Snow held her own in all of the running deer shoots and was the winner of the junior division trophy.
The Fish and Game will meet at the Little Red Schoolhouse near the beach at Norway Lake on Route 118. A potluck supper will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will open with Roberta Scruggs at 7 p.m. Those interested can visit www.npfg.org.
