Sunday service

PARIS – Silver Moore-Leamon will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

Moore-Leamon’s sermon is titled “How Shall We Live.” The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist.

The Sunday school will be directed by Renee Wales, and child care is provided.

The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

WEST PARIS – The home of Kristine Walker was the scene of a huge yard sale on Oct. 1 to benefit the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The sale continued into Sunday with a total of $554 earned and sent to the “Samaritan’s Purse” through the West Paris Baptist Church.
