BRUNSWICK – Kelly J. Butler, 36, of Harpswell, died Monday, Oct. 17, at Midcoast Senior Health Center in Brunswick.

She was born in Detroit, Mich., on Feb. 2, 1969, a daughter of C. Jerry and Susan Bussiere Harris. She graduated from Mount Ararat High School in 1987.

She was most recently employed with her dear friends at Mae’s Caf in Bath. She had been a competitive figure skater before her family moved to Maine.

She was a kindhearted person and a selfless caregiver. She loved to play bingo and had a passion for flowers and butterflies. Her friends and family will remember her most by her particular attention to detail, her enduring sense of humor and her everlasting love for her family.

She is survived by two sons, Jared and Noah Butler; a daughter, Ashley Butler; her father C. Jerry Harris and his wife, Donna, of Casselberry, Fla.; two brothers, Casey Harris and his wife, Sheri, of Bangor, and Erich Harris of Traverse City, Mich.; a sister, Beth Hentschel and her husband, David, of Traverse City Mich.; her half-sister, Sarah Harris of Casselberry, Fla.; five nieces; and three nephews.
