AUBURN – The Leviathan Rugby Club is seeking new players 18 years of age or older.

The club trains Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the lighted Auburn Middle School field.

Dion coming to Maine

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. – Popular NASCAR racer Dave Dion will be making an appearance in Maine on Friday, Oct. 21.

Dion will sign autographed copies of his new autobiography, Life Wide Open, at Berlin City car dealerships in Portland and South Portland. He will appear at Maine Mall Motors in South Portland from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and at Toyota, Lexus, Scion of Portland, 191 Riverside St., from 1-3 p.m.

The book was written by racing journalist Dave Moody.

Road races planned

PORTLAND – The Thanksgiving Day 4-Miler and Kids’ K are scheduled for November 24 at 1 City Center.

The Kids’ K is scheduled to begin at 8:30, and the 4-mile event at 9:00.
