Gallant named an assistant VP at TD Banknorth
PORTLAND – Patricia F. Gallant has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Electronic Banking Department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Lewiston. She will continue to be responsible for the development of new stored value products and conversion-related projects.
Gallant joined TD Banknorth in 2004 and formerly served as a project manager with the company.
A resident of Portland, Gallant volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine. She grew up in Westbrook and is a 1984 graduate of Westbrook High School.
Hickey joins Nitro Fitness as a trainer
LEWISTON – Michael Hickey has been hired at Nitro Fitness as a trainer.
Hickey is a recent graduate of the Community Health program at the University of Maine, Farmington, and is finishing a minor in exercise physiology.
He worked previously as a trainer at the UMF fitness center. Hickey founded the “Move a Bunch Before Lunch” program for senior citizens at the Rangeley Health Center and an after- school program for youths in grades 6-12 in Rangeley.
He will head up a new program at Nitro Fitness that focuses on senior citizens or retired men who would like to work safely with a professional trainer in an all-male atmosphere.
Hickey is also a National Guard member.
