LEWISTON – Noella B. Dumais, 84, of Lewiston, died Oct. 21, at Marshwood Nursing Home following a brief illness.

She was born in Auburn on Dec. 22, 1920, the only child of Joseph and Clara Brillant. She was educated in Lewiston schools.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at Crest Shoe. She and her husband enjoyed delivering cars for Fordland up until January 2002.

She was an enthusiastic sports fan, enjoying professional baseball, hockey and football.

She is survived by her husband, Antonin, whom she recently celebrated 65 years of marriage with on Sept. 2; two daughters, Pauline Dumais and Lucille Fortin; one son, Marcel and wife, Linda, all of Lewiston; and grandsons, Roland Fortin of Colorado, Daniel and Sunsearae of Greene, and David Dumais of Milford, Mass.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Marshwood Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Mom during her short stay.
