It is truly amazing that a Sun Journal page editor could come up with a headline referring to the New York Yankees as a bunch of losers (Oct. 12). Are the Red Sox a $125 million bunch of losers? As sports editor, Steve Sherlock must take responsibility. Doesn’t he approve the headlines attached to Associated Press articles? What better way to soothe a recently frustrated “Red Sox nation,” and be a hero among the locals, than to take a shot at the Yankees, who have won four titles, in nine years? Wow!
