AUBURN – Mark E. Morin has joined Nason Mechanical Systems.

A licensed professional engineer and member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, Morin was most recently employed as an associate mechanical engineer, He designed heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing systems for Hannaford Brothers Corp.

A graduate of Edward Little High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology, Morin also worked for Atlantic Engineering Services Inc., in Falmouth, where he provided design and engineering services for the pulp and paper, lumber and micro-brewing industries.

A native of Auburn, Morin is Leadership in Energy Environmental Design certified, a national professional standard for developing high performance, sustainable buildings and providing a complete framework for assessing building performance and measuring energy sustainability goals.

Morin, who enjoys snowmobiling, hiking and camping, lives in Poland.

Nason Mechanical Systems, founded in 1933, is a 36-person, full-service mechanical contractor headquartered on Merrow Road.
