SABATTUS – A Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at the Dominican Sisters Convent Chapel for Charles McCloskey, following prayers from the Guy B. Dostie Funeral Home. The Rev. Anthony Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Two naval officers were present at the cemetery, where “Taps” was played and the U.S. flag was folded and presented to Charles’ wife, Rose, in honor of his 20 years of dedicated service to our country. Pallbearers were John Rudder, Jim Rudder, Thomas Rudder, Jonathan McCloskey, Michael McCloskey and Scott Giguere.
