AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will hold an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, on the campus in Auburn. There is no charge.

Faculty members and students services staff will be on hand to provide information on programs of study, financial aid, the admissions process, options for transferring to four-year colleges and to give tours of the college. There will also be refreshments and door prizes.

Central Maine Community College offers more than 30 career or technical programs, including the new Certificate in Medical Coding. The medical coding program will prepare its graduates to perform specialized data entry classification and record keeping procedures related to medical diagnostic, treatment, billing and insurance documentation in various healthcare settings. Graduates are also eligible to sit for the certification examination to become a certified professional coder.

The college can provide financial aid and other student assistance. Students may participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics. Housing is available on campus.
