AUGUSTA – Another in a series of preliminary meets in the Maine USATF Fall Cross Country Program is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30 at Smiling Hill Farm, Westbrook.

The age divisions are 8-under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-29, 30-over at 5-year intervals. Age groups are determined by subtracting birth year from 2005.

Entry fee is $3 and USATF registration ($12 youth, $15 adult) is required and available at the meet. Registration begins at 12:15 p.m. Course walks start at 1:00, with the first race slated for 2:00. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 6 in each age division. Participant ribbons will be given to all others.

Another preliminary meet is scheduled Sunday, Nov. 6 at the University of Maine-Augusta. State Championship Meet is set for Sunday, Nov. 13 at the UMA.
