BOSTON (AP) – Cleveland star LeBron James scored 16 points and then sat out the fourth quarter as the Boston Celtics rallied from a 16-point deficit, beating the Cavaliers 101-100 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.

Gerald Green scored the winning basket on a leaner with 13 seconds left.

Boston trailed 98-83 with 3:33 to play before scoring 18 of the game’s last 20 points.

All of the starters were on the bench and few fans remained when Green drove and scored from the lane to give Boston the lead. Ryan Gomes stole the ball from Luke Jackson in the final seconds to preserve the victory.

James was just 3-for-11 from the floor and 10-for-13 from the line, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 18 points for the Cavaliers.

Ricky Davis and Justin Reed each had 19 points for Boston.

Boston point guard Delonte West left the game in the third quarter because of a left ankle sprain.
