FREEPORT – Eleanor J. Boschen, 88, formerly of Lisbon Falls, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on Feb. 6, 1917, in the Bronx, N.Y., a daughter of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Dunlap) Cowdrick. She was raised in the Bronx and attended and graduated from Wilton High School.
She went on to work as a home health-care nurse.
She married Charles Boschen and they spent many wonderful years of marriage together, until his passing in 1975.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens and the Lisbon Grange Hall. She especially loved spending time her family, knitting and reading.
She is survived by her three loving children, two daughters, Sue Murphy and her husband, Milton of Lisbon Falls, Candy Jo Fletcher of Cos Cob, Conn., and a son, Charles Boschen of Lisbon Falls; four grandchildren, Laura Morgan of Bowdoin, Joseph Corbin of Sabattus, Philip Murphy of Lisbon Falls and Jennene Murphy of Sabattus; six great-grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Amber, Joshua, Kerrington and Trinity; and a brother, Charles Cowdrick of Long Island, N.Y.
