LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center received its flu vaccine Thursday and has once again scheduled two flu-shot clinics for this week and next.
The first clinic will be Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave. in Lewiston. The second will be Thursday, Nov. 3, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Lisbon Falls Family Health Center in Lisbon Falls. Both will be open to the general public.
Earlier this week, St. Mary’s canceled three flu-shot clinics when officials realized they would not get their vaccine shipment in time. The 2,900 doses finally arrived Thursday.
Additional doses are also scheduled to arrive Nov. 4, and St. Mary’s expects to hold more flu-shot clinics this season.
Vaccines are $20 each. MaineCare and Medicare clients should bring their cards so the hospital can bill those insurance groups. The hospital can also bill commercial insurance, but only for Community Clinical Services patients.
