JAY – Police are investigating three burglaries that occurred Wednesday and Thursday nights. They’re looking for anyone who may have seen anything out of the ordinary during those evenings.

Hilltop Collision Center on Jay Hill and the Knights of Columbus Hall, both on Route 4, were broken into Wednesday night, police Detective Roderick Small said Friday.

A small amount of cash was taken from Hilltop, he said, and nothing appeared to be missing from the hall.

A residence on Macomber Hill Road was broken into early Thursday evening, he said, and some items and cash were taken.

Small said the two burglaries Wednesday night are connected.
