AUBURN – The Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises Inc. will be holding a Web-site-development workshop series at the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments. Marita Fairfield, Internet and Web site counselor for the business center, will present the workshops.

The fourth workshop in the series is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, on “Marketing and Promoting Your Web site.” It will cover getting a site listed on search engines, how to find free links and ways to use both Web site and non-Web site promotion tools to increase Web business, as well as developing a Web site marketing budget. The cost is $20.

The final workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 8 on “Advanced Web Marketing.” Participants learn how to use online competitive intelligence techniques to boost Web presence, as well as how to determine if pay-per-click is right for them. This course is a sequel to “Marketing and Promoting Your Web site” and intended only for business owners who already have a Web site. The cost is $30.
