Supper, meeting

NORWAY – Oxford Chapter 168, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Masonic Hall, Temple Street. A 6:30 p.m. turkey pie supper will precede the 7:30 p.m. meeting. Donations of $3 will benefit the Eastern Star charity fund. All Eastern Star members are invited.

Telstar fair

BETHEL – The Telstar Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Telstar Regional Middle/High School, Route 26.

Crafters and artisans will offer quality goods and there will be raffle items, face-painting, balloons, baked goods and Telstar Athletic Boosters’ lunch concession. This is the former Crescent Park Craft Fair. Proceeds will benefit a variety of activities, equipment and scholarships for Telstar students. For more information, call the school at 824-2136. Feeding kids

NORWAY – The Western A. Price Foundation local chapter will meet from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Fare Share Commons, Main Street. Topic will be “Feeding Our Children Before and After Birth.”

A discussion will be held about foods every expecting mom should include in her diet to have a healthy, happy baby and the best foods for children to ensure lifelong health.

The foundation is a nonprofit charity dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the American diet. It supports organic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms and informative food labeling. Church fair

NORWAY – St. Catherine’s Sodality will hold its annual holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Parish Hall, Paris Street. Tables are available for $10. Contact Rita at 743-5760 to reserve a table.

Craft sale

OXFORD – The Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church will have a craft sale downstairs at the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. Snow date will be Nov. 20. Tables can be rented for $15.
