RANGELEY – Voters will be asked to elect two trustees to the Water District on Election Day.
Currently, only Robert Griscom has formally entered the race for the two positions, and voters will be asked to write in a name for the other position on the Tuesday, Nov. 8, ballot.
Griscom, currently ending his first two-year term as a Water District trustee, said he hopes to be re-elected. His colleagues on the Water District are “good people to work with and I enjoy serving on” the board, he said.
Water District Chairman Rudy Davis said he hopes the second position on the board is filled by someone “willing to commit” the time it takes to serve on the board. “It’s a commitment. There’s various things happening, and we’re looking for good people that are just willing to take the time to take an interest and serve,” Davis said.
