You had me at hello, Derek Greenwood.
Actually you had me at, “Comment on this post. Be advised that I reserve the right to post all comments for public ridicule.”
I just can’t get enough of that.
Greenwood’s web of a site called “The Blackboard” (http://www.madhauscreative.com/pr-main.html) includes some hilarious photo skits (“Interview with Yoda”), side-splitting antics (the “Personal PR Campaign,” in which Greenwood and his buddies plaster the town with election-style signs to show appreciation for a not-running-for-office friend) and a hilarious blog.
Greenwood also has a Halloween site (http://www.madhauscreative.com/Halloween%20main.html), which includes a how-to for making a head in a jar. “Nuff said.
Both sites are shot off the home of Greenwood’s company, Madhaus Creative Services, a graphic design firm.
The blog on Greenwood’s Blackboard site includes random posts on everything from conversations with his dad to commentary on Nick Cage’s baby name choices.
THE BEST: Greenwood recently Googled some random things to see if Ebay or Amazon ads popped up for them. Sure enough: “Monkey Nuts/Wide Selection Available/Monkey Nuts Discounted/www.eBay.com”
THE WORST: It’s a vortex. There’s so much to see here that it can easily suck you in. Be sure to leave a trail of breadcrumbs.
ULTIMATELY: Worth it. This guy’s a nut.
