PARIS – The Foster-Carroll Legion Hall was the site of a Halloween party on Oct. 31, with many costumed children and their parents going through the haunted house, playing games and winning prizes.

Auxiliary members had the assistance of the Paris Boy Scouts and local businesses in putting on the party and supplying prizes.

Costume winners were: best hero costume, Michael Brough; most beautiful, Madison Bangs; cutest, Sadie Mae Gilbert; scariest, Kale Churchill; best homemade costume, Angela Zupokfiska; and best monster, Jamison Abel. Each received gift certificates and special ribbons.

Winners of the Witch’s Wagon prizes were Garret Ashley, Abby Bangs, Lucas Dunn and Katie Petrovich.

Auxiliary and Legion members who worked on the party set-up were Chairwoman Marilyn Ramsay, Lillian Herrick, Pat Dyer, Darlene and Les Rogers, Caroline Currier, Jean and Joe Lomonte, Mable Dunn, Joanne Hill, Bill Damon, Joyce Reid, Leora Kennison, Marguerite Johnson, George Brown, Lacey Coore and Scouts Justin Mocca, Brandon Paul and Seth Fogg.
