RUMFORD – SeniorsPlus will offer a program on “MYPyramid: Steps to a Healthier You” presented by Robin Andrews, DTR/LDT nutrition educator, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Rumford Dining Center, 50 Congress St.

Earlier this year, the USDA released new dietary guidelines and food pyramid. The goal was to promote health and awareness. Nicknamed “MyPyramid,” it is a personalized approach to healthy eating and physical activity. People will learn how to find a balance of food and physical activity for better health.

Lunch will be served at 11:30. The menu will include chili, seasoned rice, corn, biscuits and pears with choice of coffee, tea or milk. Cost is a $2.50 donation for those 60 and over, their spouses, people with disabilities and volunteers; $4 for those under 60. For reservations or more information, call Kim at 364-3572.
