We need to impeach President Bush, Vice President Cheney and their entourage. When I was a high school senior on my class trip in 1971, I became interested in politics because we witnessed, firsthand, people of all ages, sitting on the White House steps in Washington, D.C., waving flags and shouting under then-President Nixon’s window, “Bring them home, Bring them home” over and over again. They were talking about our troops in Vietnam at that time.

We were prohibited from entering the White House or seeing President Nixon. I still have photos. It seems to me we need to do the same things with President Bush and include “Impeach President Bush. bring them home.”

I support our troops who are willing to go and fight for America’s freedom, but I do not support our troops being in Iraq and needlessly losing their lives. We have lost over 2,000 American troops now since Bush got us into this war. What happens to America when we need the troops’ help and protection in America, and they are all in Iraq? All we need to do is look at the devastation of recent hurricanes Katrina and Rita to realize that we need more help here in times of natural disaster and other things.

Our country is not looked up to now as it used to be. We used to be a strong, respected nation. We need to change this country before it drowns in all the government bureaucracy and corruption.
