AUBURN – Jeanne O. (Fox) Mulcahy, 77, of Lewiston and formerly of Newton, Mass., died Sunday, Nov. 6, in Auburn.
She was born in Boston, Mass., on Jan. 2, 1928. She graduated from Watertown High School in Watertown, Mass., then later received her degree at Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in Cambridge, Mass.
As a camp nurse at Camp Waukeela in Eaton Center in New Hampshire, she was fondly referred to as “Foxie.”
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Robery and her husband, Edward, of Bellingham, Mass., Ann M. Butler and her husband, John, of Lewiston, Catherine James and her husband, Tim, of Billerica, Mass.; sons, Robert S. and his wife, Michelle, of Auburn, Mass., Michael G. and his wife, Sue, of Oregon, Charles D. and his wife, Maureen, of Atkinson, N.H.; cousin, Ann Shea and her husband, Earl, of Portland; and 16 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C.M. Mulchany Jr.
