MONMOUTH – Voters approved a pair of town money items Tuesday totaling more than $10,000.

In a vote of 901-389, the first measure takes $5,245 from town savings, known as the undesignated fund balance, to augment Monmouth’s planning budget.

The second, in a vote of 784-503, takes $5,581 from savings to pay membership dues to the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments.
