BERLIN, N.H. – Doris I. (Payeur) Lagace, 82, formerly of 790 Third Ave., Berlin, N.H., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Care Center.

She was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Wilfrid and Marguerite Delorge Payeur.

She married Gerard J. Lagace who predeceased her on Nov. 7, 2000.

She had resided in Berlin all of her life, was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, and graduated from St. Regis Academy. She was a member of Ladies of St.Anne, American Legion Auxiliary, Golden Age Club, M.E.S.H., a former member of the Berlin Lionettes, a former “den mother” of Cub Scouts Pack #210 and a member Link of the Living Rosary.

She had been employed at Wilson’s Pharmacy for several years.

She is survived by one brother, Robert Payeur of Wildwood, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Edmond Payeur and Louis Payeur; and one sister, Mrs. Florence L’Heureux.
