PELHAM, N.H. (AP) – Police on Thursday arrested a 71-year-old man and charged him with assaulting a 7-year-old boy 15 years ago.

Michael Cannon was arraigned in Salem District Court and was released on $100,000 bail for a Nov. 16 probable cause hearing.

Police said the alleged assault happened at Cannon’s home and that the accuser came forward two months ago. Investigators said they also are looking into reports from two other persons who claim they were assaulted by Cannon.
