LEWISTON – Lucia P. Curtis, 93, of 102 Campus Ave., died Monday morning, Nov. 14, at d’Youville Pavilion, where she had resided since March 2000, following a long illness.

She was born in St. Ephrem, Quebec, on March 12, 1912, the daughter of Napoleon and Beatrice (Caron) Poulin.

She was a longtime Lewiston resident, working many years as a weaver in the Lewiston and Auburn cotton mills until her disability in 1960.

Lucia was a member of the former American Legion Post 22, Ladies Auxiliary in Lewiston, Lewiston Senior Citizens and a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church.

Her first husband, Romeo W. Pinard, died in 1968. She then remarried Arthur K. Curtis, and he died in 1996.

She is survived by one daughter, Marie L. (Claudette) Pinard of Alexandria, Va.; one son, Robert D. Pinard of Stamford, Conn.; and three grandchildren.
