LEWISTON – Anita L. Smith, 61, of South Paris, died Thursday, Nov. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Limerick on Feb. 11, 1944, the daughter of Earl and Clara Smith. She received her education at Oxford Hills schools, and had been employed as a C.N.A. at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was a member of the Paris Hill Bible Church.

She is survived by a son, Leslie R. Everett Jr.; three daughters, Eleanor Everett, Jean Desveaux and Heidi Everett; a brother, Kenneth Smith; and a large extended family, including grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, L. Raymond Everett Sr., in 1986; her second husband, Larry A. Smith, in 1997; and two sisters, Peggy Slater and Geraldine Hersom.
