LEWISTON – A series of talks on the Eucharist by Sister Elizabeth Madden will begin on Saturday, Nov, 19, from 11 a.m. to noon at Holy Cross Parish Hall, 1080 Lisbon St.
The hour-long sessions, from 11 a.m. to noon, are designed to help participants discover unity in their relationship with the Risen Lord in the Eucharist and with others. The unity develops subtly and simply in the mysteries of work, worship and prayer.
Madden is a member of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, a contemplative, non-cloistered Eucharistic community with spiritual ministries in the Catholic church. She has completed studies in theology, scripture and spirituality and is certified in Ignatian spirituality and direction. In addition, she is serving as vocation director for the U.S. Province of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament.
Light refreshments will be served starting at 10:30 a.m. and all are welcome.
