AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club is asking for contributions to Operation Run, Run Rudolph the Rotarian Reindeer, a districtwide Rotary effort to benefit children in Biloxi, Miss., whose families were affected by the recent hurricanes.

Between now and Dec. 7, the club is gathering new stuffed toys and baby blankets, which will be trucked to Mississippi in a new Volvo tractor and 53-foot trailer provided by Northeast Transport of Waldoboro in time for the holidays.

To help Operation Run, Run Rudolph, bring new stuffed animals and baby blankets to the United Methodist Church of Auburn at 439 Park St. or to Club President Johanna Lloyd at Mechanics Savings Bank at 100 Minot Ave.

For more information about the Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club or its work in the community, contact Lloyd at 786-5700.
