PITTSFIELD, N.H. (AP) – Authorities are investigating two cases of animal cruelty.

In the latest incident, 15 dogs were taken from a home in Pittsfield on Wednesday. Animal rescue officials say the dogs were housed outside, with no water or dry shelter, and were suffering from flea infestation, skin and dental conditions and numerous parasites.

In Pelham, 16 dogs were taken from a home on Oct. 26. Police said they found the dogs living in backyard kennels in feces and filth without food or water.
