LEWISTON – Blanche Evelyn Poulin, 85, of 20 Baird St., Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 19, at home, a day before her 64th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lewiston on Sept. 5, 1920, she was the daughter of Nazaire and Helene Bourgoin Beaulieu. She was educated in local schools.

She married Carroll A. Poulin Sr. on Nov. 20, 1941. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Her passions in life were her family, cleaning, cooking, sewing, collecting jewelry, antiques and traveling. She was a very spiritual, caring and loving woman.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Carroll A. Poulin Jr. and wife, Colleen, of Auburn, and Daniel Poulin of Auburn; one daughter, Linda A. Poulin of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Cherie and husband, Michael Szustak, of Lewiston; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Katie Szustak of Lewiston; one sister, Bertha Dionne and husband, Maurice, of Lewiston; two brothers, Julien and wife, Gilbette, Beaulieu of Lewiston, and Benoit and wife, Lucienne, Beaulieu of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and two sisters, Germaine Adamski and Marie Kenney.
