BETHEL – A slide show of historic views of Newry was followed by a panel discussion by six long-time Newry residents at the Bethel Historical Society’s Regional History Center on Nov. 10.

The session celebrated Newry’s bicentenary, which was officially observed earlier this year. At that time, the society also opened an exhibit on Newry through the years in the O”Neil Robinson House.

Comments by one panel member unable to attend, Jane Young, were shared with the audience. A social hour with cider and doughnuts followed.
