Benefit supper

PERU – A community supper fund-raiser will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Rockemeka Grange Hall. Proceeds will benefit the hall for Family in Crisis Task Force and the Historical Society Club. Menu will include ham and all the fixings. Cost for adults will be $7; seniors, $5; and children under 12, $3.50.

Christmas fair

DIXFIELD – Dixfield Congregational Church, Church on the Hill, will hold the annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Coffee and doughnuts will be served in the morning and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items will include crafts, wreaths, baked goods and food from the men’s table. A raffle and white elephant table will be available. A cookie walk will be organized by the Christian Education Committee.

Proceeds from the fair will be used to support the church and their many mission projects in the community.

Club dance

RUMFORD – The area snowmobile clubs will hold their annual fund-raising “Think Snow Dance” for the benefit of the trails systems from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Eagles Hall. There will be drawings through the evening. Music will be by Scot and Cindy Grassette.

Tickets are available at Mountain Valley Sports, Gary Wentzell, Holmes Market and members of the Polar Bear Club.

Church fair

RUMFORD – A Christmas fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Athanasius and St. John’s Church.

A hot turkey luncheon will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Items available will include handmade wreaths for $15, handmade crafts, homemade goodies, candy, fudge, raffles, Chinese auction and Christmas attic treasures. For more information, call 369-8026 or 364-2528.
