MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Raymond Michael “Mike” Drew, 64, of Gettysburg, Pa., passed away Friday, Nov. 18, at the VAMC, Martinsburg, W. Va.

Born in Belfast, April 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Raymond A. Drew and Margaret M. Ridell Drew.

He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy as an officer and later retired from the National Guard. He also worked at the VA as a claims adjuster. Raymond was acquiring his master’s degree in divinity in Gettysburg.

He will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Marie C. Ahearn and husband, Michael, of Crofton, Md., and Jennifer M. Whiteleather and husband, Atlee, of Bowie, Md.; four grandchildren, Douglas and Drew Ahearn and Julia and Brooke Whiteleather; and a brother, Fred Drew of West Gardiner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marguerite E. Drew.
